The supply chain department of a renowned national restaurant chain had an impressive management workload with its suppliers. Everything was handled via email: managing quotes, receiving invoices, sending purchase orders, coordinating payment schedules, and sending approvals. This consumed weekly hours coordinating with suppliers, receiving calls, and manually entering all that information into their ERP. The challenge was to organize this information flow and drastically reduce this operational burden.

We mapped all their supply chain processes, including quote requests, purchase orders, invoice reception, supplier registration and validation, payment schedule publishing, approvals, and payment vouchers. All this information was connected to their Microsoft Dynamics ERP. Based on this mapping, we developed a custom Supplier Portal, a centralized point where registered suppliers and the supply chain team could upload/download organized documentation for each process. This data is automatically synchronized with their ERP after automated approval workflows.
